Aurora was the project name of a startup I founded called Tabster: a mobile application designed to make financial transactions between two or more people fun, fast, and easy. As part of Google's first Android Developer Challenge (ADC1), I recruited a brilliant young business partner and CTO from USC and then together we designed, built and submitted a functional app running on the earliest version of the Android mobile operating system.
The project consisted of four parts outlined in more detail here: A downloadable application for mobile platforms; a game library designed for multiple local users; an electronic funds transfer system for transactions between those users; and an internet portal and database to track transactions and customize the mobile experience.
Currently this project is mothballed, but I wouldn't be surprised if I dust off tabster.com and get this back up and running someday.
